where to begin. start with the setting
Your venue, season, and setting will naturally shape your style. A velvet gown in July? Gorgeous, yes — but maybe not the right fit. Let the time and place guide you, and your wardrobe will feel seamless and intentional. Think airy fabrics for summer, rich textures for fall, and layers for mountain or seaside celebrations.

through the process. Embrace Tradition in Your Own Way
Something Old, Something New, Something Blue… Whether you follow it to the letter or use it simply as inspiration, weaving tradition into your look adds timeless charm.
When it comes to vintage, here’s the stylist’s golden rule:
If it zips like a dream, it’s meant to be.
If it’s too big, tailor it to perfection.
If it doesn’t fit – don’t force it. It’s not the one.
Vintage is also your chance to experiment with originality. Don’t shy away from color, especially when no one else will have the same piece. Pair a vintage find with modern heels, a set of borrowed earrings, and voilà – you’ve checked every box!

call off the search. know when to stop looking
Once you’ve found your looks, stop searching. There will always be something newer, shinier, or seemingly “better,” but the pursuit of perfection is endless. Trust your instincts. The right outfit will make you feel confident, radiant, and most importantly – like yourself!!
